Saturday 28th - Visit to Universal Studios

The first day was a visit to the famous universal studios. Once we had arrived we gathered round the famous spinning globe.

We then had a tour of the famous backlot where all the filming is done, seeing some of the sets and some old props, and the crashed plane from "The war of the worlds".

The rest of the day was spent on the rides which include the Transformers ride, Mummy ride and of course Jurasic Park.

There was also a Simpsons ride and a water world show.

We ate evening meal down city walks, next to universal studios.

Friday 27th - The longest day

The trip out started at 3.00am and went on until 7.00pm by the time we arrived (with an extra 8 hours of time difference). This made it almost 24 hours on the move. Fortunately the check in was fantastic and the pizza in the lobby helped fill the hungry hoards. Everyone was ready for a good nights sleep.
